Open the group, tap the share button, and send them the invite link or the six-character code. They install ClanTab, tap Join with a Code (or open the link), pick a display name, and they're in. They don't need an account — nobody does.

Pull down on the group screen to refresh. ClanTab also refreshes on its own every few seconds while the group is open, so new members and expenses from other people usually appear within moments.

Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you used before — your groups sync automatically. If you were on an older version without sign-in, open the same invite link or enter the six-character code again on the new device instead.

It collapses everyone's balances into the smallest possible set of payments (at most one fewer than the number of people who owe or are owed). Instead of everyone paying everyone, a couple of transfers clear the whole group. Each currency is settled on its own.

Yes. Add an expense in any supported currency. ClanTab keeps each currency's ledger separate and never converts between them — so a balance can read "owed €40 and owes $15", which is the honest picture.

On the Add Expense screen, switch the split from Equally to Exact (type each person's share) or Percentage (type each person's %). ClanTab checks the parts add up before saving.

Open the group, tap the share button, and choose Export CSV or Export JSON. The CSV also imports back into ClanTab, and it can bring in history from a Splitwise export.

ClanTab stores only the display name you type and the group's shared ledger (amounts, descriptions, who paid, how it's split). No email, no phone number, no location, no analytics, no ads. Anyone with a group's link or code can see and edit that group — so don't post it publicly. Full detail in the privacy policy.

In the app: Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account identifier and groups index; your past expenses remain in each group so other members keep an accurate ledger. To remove a whole group's records, email indra@nakka.dev with the group's six-character join code.
